WARM UP 1. Teachers receive memo cards with information about the IB Profile. Some get the definitions and others the characteristic. They stand up and try to match their cards. If they wish they can give a very brief explanation of the profile. | Cards and sticky tack | 10’ | Erik Lu |
PRESENTATION 2. A video of 1 minute is shown ”The Pink Panther”. Teachers get some questions about “Learning a language different from the mother tongue” which they discuss in pairs. 3. After a few minutes, the teachers share their talking with the audience while the presenter jots down the highlights on the board. After each answer the presenters give a summary of what the IB says about it. 4. Teachers now write questions about “Language Policy” for the presenters to answer them at the end of the presentation. 5.
